Work Package 4 - Recommendations
Objective

This work package shall undertake a comparison of the critical scenarios identified with existing (global) legislation or standards. Particular emphasis on suitability of test dummy set-up shall also be considered. Guidelines shall be generated for defining functional requirements of smart restraint systems and for evaluating smart restraint systems.

Description of Work / Tasks
4.1: Comparison of selected “critical” scenarios with existing legislation and standards
4.2: Formulation of guidelines to evaluate smart restraint systems
4.3: Formulate guidelines for defining the functional requirements of a smart restraint system or for various levels of “smartness”.
